We use chocolate made with pure cocoa butter! Often chocolate compounds (like those that Hershey's uses to coat candy bars, etc.) rely on palm oil for a smooth texture. While we don’t order or use palm oil as an ingredient, we recognize that it could possibly be a sub-ingredient in ancillary elements like a teeny décor piece, so we can’t guarantee that it’s not in our product. We do know, however, that we don't outright use palm ingredients as a main ingredient in any of our products!
In addition, we use chocolate that is grown in diverse agroforestry. One, because it’s a more sustainable practice. Further, diversified agroforestry is the culture of farming in the areas we purchase from - many of those farms are also growing palm for palm kernel oil.
