At Bon Bon Bon, it’s important to us that we make something sincerely good. To us, that means carefully hand-crafting (and foreal doing it by hand! Including hand piping every lil lemon on every Lemon Bar None Bon with our hands) every Bon while also committing to sourcing the good-est chocolate, not just chocolate that tastes good, but chocolate that is committed to being truly good to each stakeholder along the chocolate value chain.
Because this is important to us, we pay a premium to our chocolate suppliers who are hyper-vigilant and protective of this process as they understand that our partnership extends beyond just wanting to source chocolate, but aids in an effort to support growing communities and families in Ecuador. We also make sure to source local ingredients whenever possible. Whether that is getting our favorite Detroit potato chips for a Bon, or using coffee beans from around the corner to make a ganache, it’s important to us that we are supporting our neighbors who are also doing amazing things.
We understand that there is far cheaper chocolate that you can find elsewhere, however, here, at Bon Bon Bon, we promise to give you what we think is the very good-est. Whether that’s the good-est ingredients, chocolate, packaging, or service, it's important to us that we do right by everyone involved in helping us produce this labor of love special treat. We hope you understand why that means we aren’t able to charge less for our product and hope that you will support our efforts in making chocolate as “good” as humanly possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out for further transparency around this as this is a topic that is very important to us.
